VIII INTERUNIVERSITY OPEN "TOURISM" MAJOR STUDENT OLYMPIAD
On April 19-20, 2019, at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the club of tourism and sports development "Zhastour" at the department of recreational geography and tourism, held the VIII Interuniversity Open "Tourism" major Student Olympiad. Thirteen teams from different regions of the Republic participated in the competition. The Olympiad was held in 2 stages: intellectual and practical. Following the two stages, the first place went to the Turan up team from Turan University. The team "Adrenaline" from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took the honorable third place. The winners were awarded with valuable gifts from the event sponsors. The Olympiad was supported by the Almaty City Tourism Department, the Red Bull company, «Yokohama» company, «Camp it» company and the educational center “Спаси beaucoup”.
