The aim of studying the discipline: to form a complete system of knowledge and practical skills in the field of quality management (QM) of tourist services based on modern theoretical and methodological foundations and experience of their use in practical activities.

While studying the discipline, students should develop the following competencies:

• to understand the importance, specifics and functions of the tourist services quality management as a special activity of the specialist with a bachelor's degree in the field of tourism;
• to explain the modern representations, methods, models and practical activity rules in sphere of the tourist services quality management taking into account the specifics of different services;
•  to analyze the modern representations, methods, models and practical activity rules in sphere of the tourist services quality management taking into account specifics of different services;
• to use the methodical approaches, methods, models and practical activity rules for effective tourism development and management in the Kazakhstan;
• to synthesize the complexes of solutions and recommendations for methodical and practical activity organization in sphere of the tourist services quality management.
