Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics in the citywide subbotnik
On October 8, 2022, as part of the nationwide campaign “No garbage in nature!” announced by the Head of State! administration, staff, faculty, doctoral students and students of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in a citywide community work day. Together with the staff of the department, our guys put in order the territory near the Keremet Student Service Center. The subbotnik is aimed at preparing for the winter period and carrying out works on landscaping, gardening and sanitation. Sunny weather and good mood made it possible to remove the territory allotted to the department from debris and dry leaves. The main purpose of the subbotnik is to attract public attention to the importance of forming an ecological culture and preserving nature.
