MINI TOURNAMENT ON CHESS November 9, 2018 at the Department of Thermophysics and Technical Physics
On November 9, 2018, a mini chess tournament among students and schoolchildren was held at the Department of Thermophysics and Technical Physics of the Faculty of Physics and Technology. The event gathered participants and fans. Fighting with their rivals, the participants showed that the game of chess is diverse and not as simple as it may seem at first glance. This is a competition in self-control, logic, and also in the ability to calculate the opponent's moves. It was interesting and exciting to watch the game. During the tournament, the judges worked, who monitored the observance of the rules of the game. According to the results of the games held, the best players were identified, who at the end of the tournament received memorable prizes.
