Dear colleagues!

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in cooperation with international organizations, central and local government authorities and leading scientific centers holds II International Farabi Forum (4-12 April, 2023).

Within its framework, Farabi Forum encompasses major scientific events designed to unite efforts of Kazakhstani and foreign scientists in solving existing problems in the development of society, the state and the individual.

"The Philosophy of Language and the Language of Philosophy of Abu Nasr al-Farabi",

dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Al-Farabi Center."

Sections of the forum:

v Philosophy of a language and specifics of intercultural communication;

v Abu Nasr Al-Farabi’s language of philosophy: the peculiarities of the translation of medieval texts;

v Linguistic and cultural issues of translation;

v The language of sacred texts: socio-cultural aspects of theolinguistics;

v Linguistic thesaurus of the original language and translation in modern science.

On April 10,2023, awarding of students and young scientists in various nominations, as well as on April 12, 2023, the closing ceremony of the II International Farabi Forum will take place. As part of the closing ceremony, a competition of innovative projects of student business incubators will be held, as well as the awarding of the "The best young scientist of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University" competition.
