Zhakebaev Dauren Bakytbekuly - Ph.D Doctor, Assistant Professor, Acting Head of the Department of Mathematical and computer modeling. The range of his scientific interests - hydrodynamic processes, mathematical modeling of turbulent MHD flow, computational aspects of environmental problems in the fields of oil and gas, pollution modeling the atmospheric boundary layer, the numerical flow simulation in cylindrical domains, the degeneration of isotropic turbulence modeling based on the filtered unsteady three-dimensional Navier- Stokes Large eddy using compact schemes.
In 2008 he defended his doctoral thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) on "Numerical modeling of flow in cylindrical domains" (specialty code 05.13.00).
Participates in the implementation of research projects in the DGP of Mathematics and Mechanics KNU named after al-Farabi. Executive in charge of projects for international cooperation programs, basic and applied programs from MES and contractual works performed with the JSC "KazTransOil" and BPH "Infrakos-Ecos". Developed software packages successfully used in the teaching process for masters and doctoral students Ph.D.
Zhakebaev D.B. has one monograph and more than 40 scientific papers published in leading journals in the Republic of Kazakhstan and other countries, is the supervisor of five undergraduates.
Research results were presented at international conferences in Azerbaijan, Germany, Russia, Italy, Poland, the national conferences and seminars.
