"I am an alumnus of 2003  graduate of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the Biological Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During my studies at the first university of Kazakhstan, I gained in-depth knowledge, and to implement and improve them, I started working in the field of education. Thanks to my tireless work, I was awarded honorary titles such as "The best teacher of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and "Excellent Student of Education". Currently, I work as the director of one of the best educational institutions in Almaty, Gymnasium school No. 44. I believe that the main reason for such productive work is the great work of the teachers who taught us. In this regard, I would like to thank the head of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Zhunusbayeva Zhazira Kabulovna and all the teachers. I would especially like to mention my supervisor, Doctor of Biological Sciences, academician, and expert in his field Bisenbaev Amangeldy Kuanbaevich, who taught me perseverance, endurance and continuous self-education. Thanks to the skills I have received from you, I am actively engaged in research activities with my students and still maintain a close relationship with the university where I studied. "Teachers and graduates of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University! I sincerely congratulate you on Alumni Day. I wish you good health and success in your work. I am a 2005 alumnus of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology. As a result of my deep knowledge gained at the university, I was accepted into the postgraduate course of the Institute of Plant Physiology and Biotechnology and defended my thesis under the guidance of Academician Palymbetova Fatima Abylkairovna and Professor of the Department Aitasheva Zaure Gainetdinovna and completed an internship in the field of molecular genetics in the USA under the Bolashak program. Currently, I work as an associate professor of the Department of Agriculture and Crop Production of the S. Seifullin Agronomic Faculty of the Kazakh Agrotechnical University in Nur-Sultan. In addition, I conduct research within the framework of the grant funding program. For all these achievements, I would like to thank the university teachers, including the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, whose teachers selflessly taught us and made a significant contribution to our development as qualified specialists."

"Dear graduates! I congratulate you on our ordinary holiday - the Alumni Day of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University!I am also an alumnus of our University, Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, and the Department of Biodiversity and Bioresources. Today I am the director of the first Kazakhstan centre for in vitro fertilisation, "Ecomed", founded by one of our graduates Baykoshkarova Saltanat Berdenovna.

"I am an alumnus of the Bachelor's degree in 2012 and a graduate of the Master's degree in 2014 of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. I sincerely congratulate all alumni of different years on this important day. I would also like to thank all the teachers, the department, and the laboratory of Molecular Genetics where I studied, especially my supervisors Amangeldy Kuanbaevich Bissenbayev and Nazgul Abdullayevna Altybayeva. While studying at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University, I got the opportunity to improve my knowledge through the academic mobility program at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart, Germany. After graduation, I researched genome stability and DNA repair at Nazarbayev University and collaborated with the Gustave Rossi Clinic in France. Currently, to continue my studies, I am studying for a doctorate at the University of Arizona, USA. I hope we can contribute to the future of Kazakhstan by strengthening the knowledge we have received in the Treasury and here."

Askarbaeva Balzhan:

"I am an alumnus of 2003 of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Thanks to the knowledge I gained at my native university to further conquer new heights, I continue my studies in the 3rd year of doctoral studies at the University of South Bohemia in the Czech Republic. I want to thank the department, and the university, a beacon and a mentor in achieving such heights in my life. I also express my immense gratitude to the entire teaching staff of the department, my scientific supervisors, Candidate of Biological Sciences Zhunusbayeva Zhazira Kabulovna and Professor Omirbekova Nargul Zhapparovna. "I am a 3rd-year doctoral student of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics. In 2018, I became the owner of the Abai-Verne grant, under which I studied at the University of Paris-Saclay under a double agreement between Kazakhstan and France. I do my scientific work at the Gustav Rossi Institute in the Laboratory of Genomic Integration and Carcinogenesis in the DNA repair group on the problem of genomic stability and DNA repair of plants and animals under the guidance of Dr Murat Saparbayev. The Kazakh National University allowed me to realise myself in science. I want to express my gratitude to all the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics teachers, especially to my supervisor, Professor and Academician Bissenbaev Amangeldy Kuanbaevich. "I am an alumnus of 2017 graduate of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The Kazakh National University annually celebrates the Day of Graduates in May. In this regard, I would like to thank all the teachers of the university and the teachers of the department, especially my scientific supervisors, Bissenbaev Amangeldy Kuanbaevich and Taypakova Sabir Myktybekovna. Studying at the Kazakh National University, combining her studies with teaching biology in English at the Republican School of Physics and Mathematics and conducting scientific research for thesis work in the laboratory of the Department, she gained extensive theoretical and practical experience. I also attended a summer school on gene therapy at Utrecht University in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Thanks to the teachers in my department, I completed the second year of my master's degree at the University of Paris-Saclay. This was carried out within the framework of the scholarship program "Abai-Vern". During this time, I completed a 6-month internship at the Gustav Rossi Cancer Institute, where I won a grant from the French government. Currently, I am a doctoral student and conduct research in oncology and DNA repair at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Paris-Sud."
