About the procedure for calculating time in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces the adoption of the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On amendments to the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 1749 “On the procedure for calculating time on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan” dated January 19, 2024 No. 20. In accordance with the Resolution, the establishment of a single time zone on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan is provided for from March 1, 2024.
In Kazakhstan, from March 1, 2024, there will be only one time zone: the 5th time zone (UTC+5).
In which regions should the local time be translated: “The Akimat of the city of Almaty ... on the night of February 29, 2024 to March 1, 2024 (at 00:00 hours) should set the local time back 1 hour.”
