A sightseeing tour of the campus of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University allows guests to receive useful and interesting information about the country’s largest university, get acquainted with its history, modern infrastructure and educational buildings, library resources, etc. The university campus is recognized as one of the best in the Republic Kazakhstan. When visiting university museums, guides talk about historical facts and events in a fascinating and accessible way.

Traditionally, the excursion work began in the last week of August 2023 with a campus tour for first-year students of the university. An introductory conversation was held, during which students became acquainted with the history and traditions of the university. They learned a lot of interesting things in the University History Museum and Al-Farabi Museum. During the excursion, the children were told the history of the KazNU administration building and the Palace of Students named after U.A. Dzholdasbekova. Ceremonial, festive and cultural events, concerts, competitions and other events are held on the stage of the palace.

There is a wireless WI-FI network on campus. The campus is an infrastructure system for comprehensive education and leisure: a wonderful sports complex with a gym, sports grounds and sections, the Keremet Student Service Center with all educational, social, medical, shopping and entertainment services for students, its own cinema, a network reading rooms.

At the end of the excursion, it is proposed to visit the library, which today is the main cultural and information center where scientific forums, conferences, trainings, and events at the international and national level are held. It provides students and teachers with the necessary educational literature. There is an Internet cafe with 300 seats on campus. The year 2012 was marked by a special event for the library - the move to a new modern building, which has no analogues in Central Asia, equipped with new technologies and communication solutions, harmoniously intertwined with elements of oriental style.
