On September 23, 2022, a solemn event dedicated to the celebration of the traditional Korean holiday Chuseok was held at the Far East Department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

Among the students of the Department of Japanese Studies of the Department of the Far East, Mr. Tatsuya Kazama, Head of the representative office of Mitsubishi Corporation in the Republic of Kazakhstan, conducted an interview with candidates for a scholarship allocated from Mitsubishi Corporation.

August 30 - September 16, 2022 within the walls of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the Department of the Far East, teachers of the Department of Japanese Studies S.K. Borankulova and A.M. Nurelov organized and held a summer school for students of Japanese universities. 

At the Department of the Far East, a meeting of the teaching staff of the Department of Japanese Studies was held by Mr. Takuya Soma, Associate Professor of the Hakubi Research Center of Kyoto University, Japan.
