International Scientific and practical conference "Information Systems and Cybersecurity"

The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Information Systems and Cybersecurity” was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the 50th anniversary of the Department of Information Systems.
The conference was attended by scientists from Kazakhstan and European countries, graduates and doctoral students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
At the conference, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovation Activities of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zhamila Nurmatovna Aitzhanova, delivered a congratulatory speech. The speaker noted that the status of a research university of the Kazakh National University obliges the active involvement of students and teaching staff in research and innovation projects. And this task can also be effectively solved through the integration of universities, research institutes and business. Zhamilya Nurmatovna expressed gratitude to all participants of the scientific and practical conference who showed interest in current research issues related to the development of information systems and cybersecurity.
President-Rector of the Caspian University of Technology and Engineering named after Shakhmardan Yesenov Akhmetov Berik Bakhytzhanovich, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Central Securities Depository JSC - Mikhail Valerievich Grishko, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Technologies and Cyber Security, Ph.D., also delivered a welcoming speech. assoc. Professor, International University of Information Technologies - Nurgul Abadullaevna Seilova and other guests of the event.
The plenary session was attended by Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor - Tukeev Ualsher, Professor of the Istanbul Technical University - Eshref Adali, Academician of the National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor - Akhmetov Bakhytzhan Srazhatdinovich, Head of the Department of Cybersecurity, IITU, Ph.D., - Amanzholova Saule Toksanovna, Kazakh and foreign scientists, qualified experts in the field of Information Technology and Cybersecurity, teachers and students of the university.

Section 2. “Innovations in computational linguistics and natural language processing”
Section 3. “IT management and innovation in information systems”
At the sections, reports on theoretical, practical and applied nature of scientific discoveries in the fields of Information Systems and Cyber Security were heard. Topics such as the problems and development of computer science and information technology in Kazakhstan, training of cybersecurity specialists in the Republic of Kazakhstan: Problems and prospects were touched upon.
The guests also shared their experiences, touched on current issues in the field of Information Systems and Cyber Security, and made their suggestions.
