“The Best UniversityTeacher” award in Astana

The award ceremony for the holders of the title "Best University Teacher" in 2022 was held in Astana. 150 teachers from 43 higher educational institutions of the country became the owners of grants. The grants provide an opportunity for university professors to undergo internships to improve their qualifications at the world's leading universities, as well as to conduct research work.
The competition is held annually with the aim of increasing the prestige of the teaching profession and stimulating them to further professional development.
The competition was held on the basis of the information system of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, through which participants could observe the transparency of all stages. Applications and documents for participation in the competition "The Best University Teacher - 2022" were also accepted in electronic format. This ensured the transparency of the competition.
As a result, in 2022, the title of "Best University Teacher" was awarded to 2 teachers of the Department of Information Systems of Al-Farabi KazNU: PhD Diana Rakhimova and PhD, Ass., Prof. Omarov Batyrkhan.
