On November 16, 2022, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with students and young scientists in Almaty. It is gratifying to realize that the development of science in Kazakhstan is seriously puzzled at the highest level in our country. The proposals voiced by President K.K.Tokayev are in line with improving the quality of higher technical education, supporting scientific innovative research and improving the socio-economic conditions of students and teachers. The initiative of the Head of state on closer cooperation with world universities is an effective way to improve the level of domestic education and science. Close cooperation of the department with foreign colleagues from universities in the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Pakistan, etc. already at this stage it is bearing fruit. As a result, our students have the opportunity to listen to lectures by leading foreign professors, scientists constantly improve their qualifications and publish the results of their research in highly rated journals (Q1, Q2).Investments in science and education do not give an instant result, it manifests itself only after years, but its importance is enormous in the development of human capital and the country as a whole. We are confident that as a result of such a policy, new Kanysh Satpayev and Ilona Maski may soon appear in Kazakhstan, which in turn will attract talented young people to Kazakh universities and Kazakh science.
