Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology Galeeva A.K., delivered a welcoming speech to schoolchildren. The guests were invited to a tour of the Faculty. Students visited 5 laboratories to get acquainted with the research areas. The first department was the Department of Analytical, Colloidal Chemistry and Technology of Rare Elements which was attended by schoolchildren. The next laboratories visited by the students were the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry, the Department of Chemical Physics and Materials Science and the Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry. In each of them, the teachers warmly welcomed the students and invited them to take part in scientific experiments. The Faculty tour ended at the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Organic Substances, Natural Compounds and Polymers. The teachers spoke about the results of the research work of the department and demonstrated dosage forms of drugs and familiarized them with various samples of polymeric materials that are under development and successfully produced. The students visited the library, the Center of the Student’s Service “Keremet” and walked around the campus.

In general, schoolchildren and teachers accompanying them had positive feedback after the event. They noted the interactive approach, high organization and friendly atmosphere that prevailed during the tour.
