The teachers discussed with the students a presentation about causes of the Afghan war, as well as 2 volumes of the book of the veteran of the Afghan war, Almaty resident Viktor Mikhailovich Mishagin “There is no paradise on earth”. The book is dedicated to 117 soldiers who died in Afghanistan from 1979 to 1989, whose fate is connected with Alma-Ata and Alma-Ata region. When writing the book, the author used documents from the Archives of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR. During discussing the Afghan war, the masters showed their good erudition and high civil position.
