April 9-10, 2018 at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, within the framework of the V International Farabi Readings, the traditional International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Farabi Alemi” was held. Students of KazNU, Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, Shakarim Semey University, KazNMU, Almaty Technological University, schoolchildren of Nazarbayev intellectual schools, lyceum No. 8 in Almaty participated in the work of the conference. About 300 reports on 8 sections were heard. At the plenary session, the deputy dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Warsaw Medical University Petr Lulinsky delivered a report. The best speakers were awarded diplomas and prizes. Within the framework of the readings the competition of innovative business projects of students and the project of students of the faculty A. Kuanyshbekova, A. Berdyhanov, M. Asanov “Receiving disinfectants for medical products and skin antiseptics” took the 3rd place.
