IV International Russian-Kazakhstan Scientific and Practical Conference “Chemical Technology of Functional Materials”

April 12-13, 2018 in the scientific library of al-Farabi KazNU within the framework of V International Farabi readings the IV International Russian-Kazakhstan scientific-practical conference “Chemical technology of functional materials” was held. The conference was organized by the department of physical chemistry, catalysis and petrochemistry of KazNU and Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU). At the plenary session of the conference prof. Helmut Sitzmann, PhD W. Gidt, PhD C.Wilhelm (all from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern, Germany), prof. Yitzhak Mastai (Bar-Ilan University, Israel), prof. N. Uvarov, assoc. prof. A. Politov, assoc. prof. A. Bannov (all from NSTU) made presentations. Following the results of the conference, it was decided to publish the best reports in the journals from the Scopus and KazNU, conduct joint scientific work in the field of using mesoporous silicon and carbon materials, develop catalysts and obtain materials for the oil industry, and organize internships for undergraduates and doctoral students.
