September 13-15, 2017 the IX International Symposium “Combustion and Plasma Chemistry” was held in the B.A. Beremzhanov Great Hall of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology. The symposium was organized by RSE “Institute of Combustion Problems” and al-Farabi KazNU, the ISTC provided financial support. The symposium was attended by more than 100 leading scientists from Germany, Japan, Italy, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Participants of the symposium made presentations at the plenary session and at the sections “Combustion processes and plasma chemistry”, “Explosion processes and condensed systems”, “Nanomaterials and synthesis of SHS”, “Processing of oil and hydrocarbons”. The best speakers were awarded with diplomas. Selected reports will be published in the journals “Combustion and Plasma Chemistry” and the Eurasian Chemico-Technological Journal.
