The Laboratory of KazNU on Phytochemistry in the International Karachi Center (Pakistan)Year of foundation: 2015

Main scientific activities: The Laboratory of KazNU on Phytochemistry in the International Karachi Center (Pakistan) - Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of Modern Phytopharmaceuticals and Drug Delivery Systems is engaged in advanced fundamental research to develop safe and effective phytopreparations against diseases prevailing in the region based on local raw materials and knowledge.

Al-Farabi KazNU opened a joint Research Center & Laboratory for Innovative Research at the University of Karachi (Pakistan). The project was implemented with the assistance of the Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS).

Speaking at the Center’s opening ceremony, Tlekabul Ramazanov, Vice Rector for Science and Innovations of KazNU, highlighted that fruitful cooperation with the Research Institute of Chemistry and the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences of Karachi University has been developing for 20 years.

The purpose of the Forum is to gather the most outstanding students of various oil and gas specialties

The winners of the republican contest «The best teacher of high school in 2018» became the teachers of the Faculty: Doctor of Chemical Sciences Professor A.Kuratov, Ph.D., professor R.Nadirov, PhD, senior teachers M.Tulepov, and doktor PhD assistant professor E. February 22, 2019 in the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in the framework of the program “Ruhani Zangyru”, the VI research conference of schoolchildren “Young al-Farabi” on the topic “Youth is the future of Kazakhstan” was held.        

Ass. Prof. of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry Sassykova L.R. took an active part in the 2-day master class “Work in the Moodle distance learning system” of the 49th International Scientific-Methodical Conference «Human capital – basis of industrialization 4.0», held at the KazNU on February 14-15, 2019.

In the framework of the program on patriotic education of young people, lecturers of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry, Ass.Prof. Sassykova L.R. and Prof. Aubakirov Y.A. on February 13 and 15, 2019, have led talks devoted to memory of the dead in the Afghan war and to the 30 anniversary of a withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan with students of English division: bachelors (1, 3 courses, specialty “ChTOS”) and masters (1st course, specialty “Petrochemistry”).

At the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, the Physico-Technical Faculty and the Faculty of Information Technologies of our university, for many years the famous club “Patriots Atameken” has been conducting many educational activities. For example, excellent meetings with such people as: Bekbolat Tleukhanov, Mukhtar Shakhanov, Mukhamedzhan Tazabekov, Rinat Zaitov, Serik Kaliev, Aisha Kenesbay, mother of the orphanage Perzent Aisha Hanym, Ardak Nazarov.

Letter to the Future!

Цith organization of the club «Atameken Patriottary», a meeting on the theme “Letter to the Future” was held with a member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, a poet, Serik Kaliyev. Students received answers to all their questions.
