Scientific seminar on the theme of the research «Gender images and stereotypes of modern advertising: the case of Kazakhstan and the United States»

On November 28, 2016 Doctor of Philosophy, Professor A.R. Massalimova and PhD student of the 2nd course of the specialty «Cultural Studies» Anel Naisbayeva held a scientific seminar topic: «Gender images and stereotypes of modern advertising: the case of Kazakhstan and the United States» for the students of the 4th course of the specialty «Cultural Studies».

During the seminar were considered advertising as a factor of cultural-historical process, the impact of advertising on consumer behavior, gender images and stereotypes in the media, also clearly presents advertising companies world-renowned brands.

At the end of the scientific seminar for students it was proposed questionnaire, the results of which will be used in our thesis research for a comparative analysis.
