The ancient epic

At Al-Farabi KazNU as part of the implementation of innovative projects "Ainalandy nurlandyr" launched the ethno-linguistic project "Koblandy" - by heart». 1st year students of the Faculty of Philology and doctoral students of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science became its partisipants. The purpose of the project is to draw attention to an effective methodology for teaching the Kazakh language based on the texts of epics.

The first presentation of the «Koblandy - by heart» project took place in 2009. Its participants were trained to play the dombra and memorized 300 lines of the epic. This student training can be called experimental, because it has now been decided to expand its musical part, using modern melodies, and also add dance numbers to the program. Recording of phonograms will be carried out at the recording studio of the Faculty of Journalism.

The premiere of the project is expected in the near future. I would like to hope that participation in "Koblandy - by heart" will become traditional for university students.
