Teachers of the Mathematical and Computational Modeling department Shakenov K.K., Zhakebaev D., Maussumbekova S.D., Karuna O.L. participated in the videoconference on the basis of online communication platform «G-global», organized by the Department of MKM LN Gumilyov University. The topic of it was "Improving the quality of training specialty Mathematical and computer modeling", where they discussed the issue of improving training quality and relevance of knowledge of graduates of the specialty "Mathematical and computer modeling." On the agenda were the issues: a critical analysis of the content of educational programs of undergraduate and graduate specialization; problem of the low number of specialized disciplines at the 1st course of specialty according to the programme; the problem of employment of graduates of the specialty to meet the needs of employers and society; the conclusion of agreements with employers, social partners on the allocation of grants and scholarships for training, organization of research work of students.
