Delegation of the Education Association for International Exchange of China visited the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Department of Chinese Studies. Delegation was headed by Mr. Lin Zuopin, deputy general secretary of the Association. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize with the educational system of Kazakhstan, invite Kazakhstan universities to participate in the annual conference and exhibition of the Association, as well as discuss on future cooperation in the exchange of students. The delegation was warmly received by the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Ms. Dzhubatova B.N, Head of the Department of Chinese Studies Ms. Batpenova Z.S, director of the Confucius Institute Mr. Asilbekov R.O. After a small excursion of the faculty guests moved to the meeting room, where was education and awareness presentation on the activities of the university and the faculty. In turn, members of the delegation briefed the activities and existing programs of the Association. After discussion on the development of mutual cooperation, the delegation visited the Confucius Institute at Kazakh National University Named after Al-Farabi.
