Ogarev, an international round table was held on the topic “Trends and prospects for the study of Chinese as a foreign language in Russia and Kazakhstan”, which was attended by the head of the department, Konstantin Bertoldovich Svoykin, as well as the teaching staff of the Department of English Philology and Doctor of Ph.D. of the Department of Chinese Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Kazakh Al-Farabi National University Saparbaeva Nurzhan Baltazhanovna. At the round table, trends and prospects for studying Chinese as a foreign language in Russia and Kazakhstan and further fruitful cooperation between the Mordovian State Research University named after N.P. were discussed.
