The teachers  and students of the Department of Chinese Studies attended the round table. During the round table, the head of the Department of Chinese Studies, Kerimbaev Yerzhan, spoke about China's active participation in global cultural integration, its policy of spreading Chinese language and culture to the world at the international level.  He also spoke about the importance of Confucius Institutes and its strategic importance in spreading Chinese language and culture to the world.  He explained the rapid spread of the Chinese language and culture in connection with the development of China's social economy and its increasing importance in international relations. The Confucian Institutes not only spreading the Chinese language and culture, but also performing the "soft power" mission of Chinese diplomacy, dispelling the suspicion of the "China threat" in the world, and the role they play in shaping a new positive image of China are also discussed.
