A meeting was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies on the occasion of Tajik Language Day

As part of Tajik Language Day, the head of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan Maliksho Nematzoda and Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Almaty Ravshan Bobokhonzoda visited the Faculty of Oriental Studies and met with the faculty and students.

The meeting was chaired by the dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies N.B. He opened with a congratulatory speech, congratulated the guests on their visit to the faculty and on the important holiday, and, while focusing on the history of cultural and historical relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tajikistan, spoke about the work of the "Tajik language and culture" center at the faculty.

The head of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan, Maliksho Nematzoda, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome of the faculty of Oriental Studies in the context of such a celebration, and emphasized the importance of increasing cooperation in the fields of education, science, and tourism in strengthening the friendly relations of the two countries, bringing together the cultures of peoples, preserving the valuable national heritage through language. Giving interesting examples from his life events and work experience abroad, he invited students to get deep knowledge and become masters of their work.

In turn, the Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Almaty, Ravshan Bobokhonzoda, expressed his gratitude to the staff of the department, who initiated the celebration of the language holiday in the Tajik language center of the faculty, and emphasized that the preservation of the language is the preservation of the country, and that his country is interested in strengthening relations between the two countries in various fields. He concluded his speech by quoting a passage from the famous poet O. Suleymenov's poem "Tajiks speak Dari, the literary Persian language", which glorified the Tajik language.

During the meeting, the head of the department D. Kokeeva and senior teacher B. Bazarkulova reported on the activities carried out in the "Tajik language and culture" center of the faculty and shared their thoughts about future joint activities.

The end of the meeting continued with students reading poems of Tajik-Persian classical poets.
