An online meeting for 1st year students was organized under the guidance of the Dean of the faculty of Oriental studies Ikhtiyar Paltore on 1 September 2020.

      In his welcoming speech, the dean of the faculty congratulated the young people on their admission to the ranks of students and expressed the hope that they, in turn, will study well and become a versatile person.

      First of all, specific tasks were explained for the students during the meeting. Also, having personally acquainted the heads of the departments of the faculty with the students, the dean noted that each student will work remotely with advisers of groups in the chosen language at the departments. The heads of the department also congratulated the 1st year students and expressed their wishes.

      First-year students were presented with videos about the life of the university and the faculty, including the events held in the last academic year. They explained the peculiarities of university education aimed at forming citizens of a virtuous society, based on the idea of the great scientist Abu Nasr al-Farabi of the treatise "On the views of the inhabitants of a virtuous city", and also gave answers to students' questions.

      More than a hundred first-year students took part in the event, held in an online format and received the right direction.
