04.03.2020 A well-known Turkologist, associate professor of the Department of Kazakh Philology of the Central University of Nationalities of the People’s Republic of China, Doctor of Historical Sciences Duysenali Abdylashimuly visited our faculty, gave lectures to students and undergraduates majoring in Turkology and Oriental Studies. The organizer of the event was the dean of the faculty YM Paltore, the heads and teachers of the departments of Turksoy and Chinese Studies. The lecture of the professor was also attended by scientists of the faculty Nabizhan Mukhametkanuly, U.T. Alzhanbaev, K. Kalybaev, F. Orazakinkyzy, Z. Shadkam and shared their views on the topic of the lecture. Since the main topics were related to the history, culture and language of modern Turkic peoples, they focused on the most pressing problems and made their conclusions. Since January of this year, Professor Duysenali Abdylashimuly visited several universities and research institutes of the country, giving lectures based on new data and sources.
