December 12-13, 2022 teachers and advisors of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Zhumazhanova F.T., Mustafayeva A.A., Zhiekbayeva A.B., Mamedova F.Z., Khavan A., Kaliyeva Sh.S., Dzhubatova B.N., Akhmetbekova A.K., Zhumadilova A.Ye., and undergraduate students held a meeting of the delegation headed by Mohammed Kamil al-Mugini from the Institute of Cultural Diplomacy, United Arab Emirates, dedicated to the International Day of the Arabic Language.
From November 17 to 26, 2022, Irina Valerievna Korovina, associate professor of the department of English philology, deputy dean of the faculty of foreign languages for scientific work at the N.P. Ogarev Mordovian State University(Russian Federation, Saransk), held a 2-week course of lectures on the topic "Parameters of cultural differences and their influence on intercultural communication" I.V. Korovina is the foreign scientific supervisor of Mukatai Klara, a 2nd-year doctoral student of our department.
On December 10, 2022, Ph.D. Orazakynkyzy Farida, Associate Professor of the Department of Chinese Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, participated in the International Scientific Conference "2022 Chinese Culture Communication Forum" held at the Huazhong Agriculture University in Wuhan and gave a presentation on the topic "Methods and skills of teaching Chinese in Kazakhstan".
