Purpose of Educational Programs

The purpose of the educational program in the specialty "7M04146-Public Administration" is to train highly qualified managers with a wide range of analytical and practical skills.

Expected learning outcomes

Upon completion of this program, undergraduates are expected to be able to:

1.Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the main issues of public administration related to the organization and effective operation of public authorities, taking into account the requirements of the legislation;

2.Understand leading and alternative theories, concepts, and models in public administration;

3.Implement strategic management in the interests of society and the state, including setting socially significant goals;

4.Analyze the state of the economy of the branches of the budget sector, individual organizations, determine the economic consequences, prepared or adopted decisions;

5.Use innovative technologies in the process of preparing and making managerial decisions at the level of public administration;

6.Make optimal management decisions based on the analysis and assessment of the state and prospects of development of state bodies, ensuring their effective functioning and development;

7.Analyze the state of the economic, social, and political environment, the activities of state authorities, state and municipal enterprises and institutions, political parties, socio-political, commercial, and non-profit organizations;

8. Summarize the results of system analysis in the development, adoption and implementation of management decisions and identify problematic situations in government agencies;

9.Apply basic economic methods for managing state and municipal property, making management decisions on budgeting and the structure of state assets;

10. Apply in practice the principles and methods of incentives that ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the activities of public administration bodies in Kazakhstan.

Academic activities

Academic activities of educational programs are carried out:

- within the framework of existing regulatory documents and methodological recommendations in the field of higher education in the field of economic sciences,

- as a result of the implementation of regulatory documents regulating the educational and methodological process at the university;

- generalization and dissemination of new normative legal acts concerning methodological work;

- current and long-term planning of the educational and methodological work of the university, coordination of the educational and methodological complex of the discipline (UMKD) of the department for compliance with regulatory legal acts, the working curriculum and the educational program;

- monitoring the provision of the educational process with teaching materials, documenting the results;

- development of teaching materials; development and implementation of the working curriculum
