At the Faculty of Law of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi hosted a meeting of students in the specialty "Customs" with Ph.D., associate professor, dean of the Faculty of Law of the Grodno State University named after Yanka Kupala Cheburanova Svetlana Egorovna (Grodno, Republic of Belarus). 
At the meeting, issues of academic mobility were considered, it was also decided to conclude a memorandum on the mutual exchange of students and undergraduates.
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is a multidisciplinary university that effectively carries out educational, scientific and innovative activities and the commercialization of scientific developments. The status of a research university is aimed at strengthening cooperation of KazNU with leading world universities, research centers with advanced technologies. Thus, the university has a great impact on the socio-economic development of the country.

November 15, 2021, Department of customs, financial and environmental law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a conversation dedicated to the Day of the national currency of Kazakhstan – tenge.

During the event the students were familiarized with the history of the emergence of monetary relations in the world, as well as the history of the emergence and characteristics of the national currency “tenge”; the degrees of banknotes’ protection also were examined. Participants discussed the problems of stability of the financial system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

KazNU 2^nd and 3^rd year students of “Customs law” specialty met with officials of the Department of State Revenue in Almaty city (DSR) and discussed the further employment issues.

The answers to the questions of the specifics of employment in the state service, the career and the prospects for social protection and supporting the state servants were received during the meeting.

DSR specialists jointly with specialists of the Department of customs, financial and environmental law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University analyzed the content of “Customs” EP and made a number of proposals for its improvement.

The close collaboration between the University and territorial divisions of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been continuing.

Department of customs, financial and environmental law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) within the scope of implementing the double degree program in “Maritime and Energy law” specialty, in conjunction with the Law faculty of Baku State University named after A. Aliyeva held an educational-methodical round table.

There were considered actual issues of organizing the educational process and the topics of masters’ dissertations of 2021-2023 years’ enrollment were approved.
