10 December 2021 the Department of Customs, Financial, and Environmental Law at KazNU arranged a round table on the issues of integrating migrant children in basic education. The participants discussed, among other things, such issues as the current national regulation of the process of obtaining basic education, experiences of migrant children in obtaining basic education in states-recipients, as well as the significance of supporting teaching of and in various mother tongues in primary school. Among the participants were the staff of the department as well as the invited scholar, Dr. Mariya Riekkinen of Åbo Akademi University, Finland.

On 9.12.21, at 13.00, the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law holds a practical seminar dedicated to the 30th anniversary of independence.Where the development of insurance legislation and the state of the insurance market today will be discussed.It should be noted that the key issue of the seminar is "The Institute of life insurance". The lecturer of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, Mikhail Gusev, as a deputy of the Enbekshikazakh district Maslikhat of the VII convocation from the Nur Otan parties, held a Canvassing meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor, Doctor of Law of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with D.A.Baidildinov. Within the framework of short-term programs, Doctor PhD, Adjunct professor Mariya Riekkinen, Åbo Akademi University (Finland) was invited to KazNU named after al-Farabi. She lectures and conducts consultations for a contingent of students from students, undergraduates and PhD doctoral students from 02.12.2021 to 28.12.2021 at the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law.
