As part of the project "Green campus" 1st year students speciality "5B060700-Biology" was held a tour of the aquarium laboratory of the faculty of biology and biotechnology al-Farabi Kazakh national University.

The purpose of the tour: to introduce students to the technology of growing ornamental fish and the formation of respect for nature.

During the tour lecturer of the Department of biodiversity and bioresources Jumahanova G. B. told about the features of fish feeding and caring for them. In General, the tour was informative and useful. Students learned a lot of new and interesting things about the life of fish and other aquatic organisms.

On November 8, 2018, students 1st year of specialty "5B060700-Biology" visited the Biological Museum of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The Biological Museum of KazNU was founded in 1936, first as a Zoological Museum at the Department of Zoology of the faculty of biology, and then in 1949 it was reorganized into the biological Museum of the faculty. The modern life of the Biomuseum began with the opening of the showroom and external dioramas in 1984, during the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the University. The Biological Museum of KazNU is unique not only for the Republic of Kazakhstan, but also for the whole CIS.

The purpose of the tour: to acquaint students with the diversity of flora and fauna of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to foster careful attitude towards nature, to increase knowledge of students in biology.

Students of the group BBP 1803,1804 Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine visited the Kazakh state academic drama theater. M. Auezov. Witnessed the sad Comedy of the play "Otyz ulyn bolgansha" authored by F. Bulyakov translated T. Alibekuly The main purpose of our trip to the theater is to give young people to get acquainted with the technique to nourish spiritual wealth and appreciate the atmosphere of the stage. The play "Otyz ulyn bolgansha" is a productive event dedicated to the younger generation, which affects the problem of youth.

P.S. In order that young people were better acquainted with culture and life. Knew the difference between white and black, knowing the bitterness of time. Time-it takes what it wants and throws away what it doesn't need. That is why we must increase the interest of young people in theatrical performances.

The first charity concert was held in the Central Park named after M. Gorky, organized by the Public Fund "Komek" KazNU. al-Farabi. The event was attended by students-volunteers of the Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine specialty "5B011300-Biology" gr. BBP 1803-04.

The main purpose of the event was to raise funds for the repair of the dining room and heating system of the orphanage "Nur" in Almaty.

October 25, 2018 at 14: 00 at the Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine held a round table on the theme: "Psychological aspects of adaptation of freshmen to the conditions of study at the University". As a result of the roundtable were identified the following main problems arising in the adaptation of freshmen to study at the University (in descending order of their importance): 

- insufficient level of school knowledge in many disciplines;

- inability to allocate their time and effort;

- unwillingness to work with a large amount of new information;

- the lack of the usual control and supervision on the part of parents, teachers;

- lack of readiness for training based on full independence;

- lack of readiness to meet the high requirements of teachers;

- the lack of some students ' diligence, willpower, and most importantly – the desire to learn.

October 14, 2018 at the Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine of the Kazakh national University named after al-Farabi students of 3 course of the specialty "5B060700-Biology" held an open lesson on the topic "Kyz tarbiesi - ult tarbiesi". The open lesson was held at the faculty level. During the open lesson, students discussed aspects and problems of education of girls. Students made presentations on age - related changes in the body of girls during puberty.

Within the project "Light the world around you" at the Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine was held an educational event on the theme "Ustazdyk – uly kyzmet".

One of the most difficult, responsible and respected professions in the world is teaching. People who give their time, knowledge and soul to pedagogy accept congratulations from grateful students, their parents on their professional day. Wise teachers and professors share with us the subtleties of the chosen profession. And even as adults, we ask for help from teachers who give us the necessary information for life and professional activity.

The ceremony was attended by undergraduate and graduate students, and guests professor, academician of NAS of Kazakhstan Dusembin H.D. and head оа the Department, Professor Tuleuhanov S.T.

During the meeting, students of the faculty demonstrated their talents, prepared festive numbers to give your favorite teachers a great mood. The event ended with a General memory photography.
