May 26, 2017 the Department of International Relations and World Economy of al-Farabi KazNU and the Center for Eurasian Studies will hold the International Scientific and Methodical Conference, 1st Ibrashev’s Readings «Eurasian Integration as a Solution to the Challenges of the 21st Century», dedicated to an outstanding scientist, doctor of historical sciences, professor, the founder of The School of European and Eurasian Integration Studies in Kazakhstan, the founder of the specialty and the Faculty of International Relations, and the founder and the first head of the Center for Eurasian Studies of the al-FarabiKazNU – Zharas Umarovich Ibrashev.

         Discussion of topical problems of Eurasian integration, Eurasian identity, modernization of public consciousness, etc. are planned for the conferencein the context of modern international and regional processes.  

         The conference will be attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, leading scientists of national and foreign universities, research institutes, think tanks, and public organizations.

         Students and teachers of the Faculty of International Relations ofal-FarabiKazNU will also take part in the event.
