Student competition of business projects “From Idea to Business” was held among students of 1^st and 4^th courses of speciality “World Economy”, organized by candidate of economic sciences, Associate professor of the Department International relations and World Economy  International relations faculty of Kazakh National University named after al- Farabi Dabyltaeva Nazym Esbergenovna.  The main objective of the competition  is to link theoretical knowledge of students with practice, according to today's requirements. 10 projects participated in the competition. The composition of the invited jury consisted of: Maksat Serpaly – marketer of National Chamber entrepreneurs "Atameken", expert-economist; Zhumahan Kumar-the owner of the restaurant "Kuyrdaktyn kokesy", entrepreneur; Oserbay Ardak- entrepreneur; Yerbolat Tezekbay -Advisor to the president of Zhas Otan. Guests praised the student projects and expressed the confidence that in the future these projects may contribute to the development of our economy. Winners were awarded with certificates and prizes. Dean of the Faculty, LL.D., Professor K. N. Shakirov wished good luck to the students and assured guests that the faculty are preparing highly skilled specialists of the future.
