Creative competition "The World through the Eyes of Students» was held among students of 1^st course of specialty "World economy" organized within the framework of pedagogic practice of masters, 2^nd course Master student Zhanar Ahanova and candidate of economic sciences, Associate Professor of International relations and world economy Dabyltaeva Nazym Esbergenovna, Faculty of International relations, Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi. 

The competition was held in the following areas:

— literature (poems, stories, essays);

— drawings and photographs (portraits, photos);

— video.

Dean of the Department, LL.D, Professor K. N. Shakirov wished success to the students on evening.

During the competition the students donated their works, photos and videos to the jury. The jury consisted of: Head of Department, candidate of historical sciences E.S. Chukubaev, Deputy Directors Bajkushikova G. S., Sarybaev M.S. and senior lecturer Ospanbaev Zh. A. Guest of the evening was Professor of the Scranton University (United States) Sean Brennan. He was very surprised by the creativity of the students.  The evening ended with Kui "Saryarka" performed by student 1 course Oralbekova Moldir. In the end of 1 course "World economy" adviser noted that 20 students are holders of the mark «Altyn belgy» from 29 students and wished success in creativity and encouraged to learn on just fine. Winners were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes.
