On December 22, 2023, in the city of Almaty, on the eve of the new year 2024, a charity event initiated by the teaching staff, students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the Department of Health Policy and Organization of the Faculty of Medicine and Health of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was launched.

     As it is necessary for normal digestion, water contributes to an increase in intestinal motility, water participates in all chemical and biological processes of the gastrointestinal tract, provides constipation, due to which toxins are removed from the body.

What is immunity?

The immune system is the protective system of our body, protecting it from something alien, dangerous to us. The defense reaction begins from the moment the enemy "agent" is recognized, then it is removed and the negative traces of this infection in the body are eliminated.

As part of activities to implement the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 3 “Ensuring a healthy lifestyle and promoting well-being for everyone at any age” at the Department of Health Policy and Organization of KazNU. al Farabi, second-year master's students majoring in “Healthcare Management” conducted an educational lesson on the topic “Screening studies of the population in the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

November 28, 2023 The 2nd year master students in the specialty "Medicine (Clinician-scientist)" Narova Darina and Ezhey Nurzhanat under the guidance of advisor A.M. Balmukhanova made reports in English in the frame of events dedicated to SDG. Master students covered issues on SDG No. 3 “Good health and well-being” and SDG No. 4 “Quality education”, they presented the main objectives and indicators. The event was attended by teaching staff of the Department of Health Policy and Organization

On November 18-20, a master class on neurology was held on the topic: “Botulinum therapy for movement disorders.” One of the organizers of this scientific and practical event is our 1st year master’s student in the specialty “Medicine (Doctor-Researcher)”, a neurologist who deals with the problems of parkinsonism A.G. Taskinbaeva.

     On December 04, 2023, an event was held at the Department of Health Policy and Organization of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University within the framework of SDG №4 Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and encouraging lifelong learning opportunities for all. Participants: teachers of the department and doctoral condidate of 1 year of study.

     After the introductory speech, doctoral student Alzhanbekova Gulzhan provided a presentation on the topic "myeloma". The presentation reveals the issues of the topic, asked questions, answered the questions posed. At the end of the event, Gulnur Zeynelovna Tanbayeva, Professor of the department, spoke with words of gratitude.
