The organization of a round table within the framework of SDG 10 "Closing gap in access to healthcare. Countries experience" at the Department of Health Policy and Organization under the leadership of Professor Gulnur Zeynelovna Tanbayeva and 1st-year doctoral students Gulzhan Alzhanbekova and Wan Xingzhan is a significant event in the field of discussing the problems of reducing inequality in healthcare. During the event, undergraduates and bachelors of the department discussed topical issues related to reducing inequality in the health sector, which is a key aspect of ensuring public health.     

Associate Professor of the Department of Health Policy and Organization Maulenova B.N. within the framework of the SDGs and in connection with the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, students of the Faculty of Medicine and Health were given a lecture on the topic “Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship”. The lecture aroused genuine interest and lively discussion.

02/16/2024 A seminar was held for editors of scientific journals on the topic: Promotion of scientific journals into international databases and increasing their recognition. The lecturer was scientometrics expert Mark Akoev.
The head of the Department of Health Care Policy and Organization Kapanova G.Zh. took part in the seminar. together with the main editors of scientific journals of Al-Farabi KazNU.

On February 13, 2024 within the framework of events dedicated to SDG 3 “Good health and well-being” and SDG 6 “Clean water and sanitation”, 1st year master’s student in the specialty “Medicine (Clinician-Scientist)” Taskinbayeva A.G. visited the “Galaxy” school and gave a lecture in English on the topic “Personal hygiene and Cleanliness”. The lecture was held in an interactive and accessible form for schoolchildren.

Associate Professor of the Department of Health Policy and Organization Maulenova B.N. As part of the SDGs and in connection with the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, on February 12, 2024, a lecture was held for students of the Faculty of Medicine and Health on the topic “Problems of combating corruption in healthcare.” The following issues were considered: the causes and grounds of corruption in the healthcare system of Kazakhstan, the prevention and prevention of corruption in the field of healthcare. The lecture aroused interest and lively discussion among students.

Doctoral student of the 3rd year of study at the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare, Department of Health Policy and Organization Demeubaeva D.M. and the curatorial group visited the M.O. Auezov Theater. We saw the tragedy “Kan men ter.” Akbala." Everyone really enjoyed the theatrical performance.
We sincerely thank the author for the wonderful production and the talented actors for their amazing performance.
My students and I empathized with the main character and could not contain our emotions; we were moved. We watched it in one breath and with great pleasure.
