Purpose

The program is aimed at the formation of a professional personality of a specialist with analytical and creative thinking, able to critically evaluate the methodological principles of the study of the Kazakh language and literature, training, adaptation to modern, use them in the process of effective training, to implement in the domestic and world markets; motivated presentation of their views on topical issues of teaching modern language and literature; teamwork.

Expected abilities of students who have completed this educational program:

1. To show modern theories, concepts, methodology of literary studies, linguistics, systematic understanding of teaching methods, the development of new technologies for the study of artistic creativity, literary and linguistic expertise of literary works.

Understanding the laws of development of modern historical,cultural and literary processes, the impact of scientific and technological progress on artistic creativity and methodology of study and evaluation of literary heritage of writers.

2. Development of own strategy of studying, interpretation and analysis of the Kazakh language and works of fiction in the context of trends in the development of modern historical, cultural and economic processes.

3. The study analysis of methods, methods of teaching language and literature, the development of new, digital and Internet technologies and their free handling.

4. Critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis of approaches to the implementation of new ideas, methods and approaches as a result of the study of the Kazakh language and literature in the domestic and world markets.

5. Development and implementation of patent search, coordination and management of scientific research in the field of theoretical and applied literature and linguistics, language and cultural policy, state and initiative programs.

Development of scientific and creative projects on commercialization of teaching the Kazakh language and literature.

6. Development of new methodological approaches to teaching literature and language education in higher education, their critical analysis and the creation of new hypotheses.

7. Independent carrying out and solution of actual scientific, practical tasks for the study of the Kazakh language and literature in the paradigm of achievements of domestic and world social and humanitarian science.

8. Systematization, analysis and synthesis of theoretical knowledge in the field of cultural studies, psychology, еconomics, law, literature in the process of learning the Kazakh language and literature.

9. The use of conceptual and methodological apparatus of the theory of literature and linguistics to perform non-standard works of various levels of complexity.

10. Development of methods of pedagogical research, analysis and promotion of services in the field of literature and linguistics.

11. Familiarization with the results of research in the form of reports, articles, monographs, lecture courses, textbooks and teaching AIDS, using modern print media, editing and information resources.

Academic activities

The academic activity of the EP is carried out:

- within the framework of existing regulatory documents and methodological recommendations in the field of higher education in the field of literary studies;

- as a result of the implementation of regulatory documents regulating the educational and methodological process at the university;

- generalization and dissemination of new normative legal acts concerning methodological work;

- current and long-term planning of the educational and methodological work of the university; coordination of the educational and methodological complex of the discipline (EMCD) of the department for compliance with regulatory legal acts, the working curriculum and the educational program;

- monitoring the provision of the educational process with teaching materials, documenting the results;

- development of teaching materials; development and implementation of the working curriculum.

Scientific activity

For the implementation of the educational program at the faculty of philology and world languages there are laboratories of Zhambyl Center of research of Kazakh folklore and literature, Abay Institute. Scientific school or scientific directions of the Department (scientific projects)

1) Theoretical and methodological literature and linguistics, engaged in the development of scientific concepts, conceptual and categorical apparatus of teaching language and literature;

2) Literary comparativistics is based on comparative-historical study of national literature, determination of regularities of development of world and domestic literature;

3) Intertechnology and textual criticism, studies the nature of the performance features of literary texts;

4) innovative and communicative technologies of Philology, engaged in the development and implementation of new methods and techniques of teaching Humanities; 5) literary criticism, which assesses the importance of the past and modern artistic heritage, determining the place and role of the writer in the historical and cultural process;

6) hermeneutics and receptive aesthetics-studying the peculiarities of perception and interpretation of meanings in a work of art;

7) linguistic axiology, the study of linguistic identity and manifestation of values in the language. Doctoral students participate in the implementation of scientific projects of the Department
