Purpose of EP

Provide training for PhD students aimed at possessing of scientific, research, pedagogical, expert, organizational and managerial competencies and skills for their implementation in practical and scientific activities, applying the information and communication technologies in accordance with the needs of society

ON1 Demonstrate deep knowledge in the history of methodology and modern literary criticism, applying them in research work;

ON2 Apply traditional and innovative technologies in scientific work and training.

ON3 Critically analyze scientific ideas, concepts in philology, and synthesize new ideas; actively, productively use and disseminate new knowledge.

ON4 Collect, process, analyze and synthesize philological and scientific-technical information, advanced domestic and foreign experience, results of experiments and observations.

ON5 Analyze the theoretical and methodological principles, meta-language and meta-dictionary of modern foreign philology in the system; traditional, new, dominant philological areas, concepts, scientific schools of philology.

ON6 Apply the skills of organizing and conducting linguistic / literary studies in practice, abstracting and creating academic abstract, annotating scientific articles, compiling justifications for scientific work, bibliographic records

ON7 Carry out professional activities related to the use of philological knowledge in organizations of education, culture, management, the media, in the field of intercultural communication and other areas of the social and humanitarian sphere.

ON8 Demonstrate professional and practical skills in language / literature teaching in higher educational institutions using modern computer technologies, interactive teaching methods, etc.

ON9 Apply innovative technologies in the field of analysis and processing of the natural language for conducting various types of lexicographic dictionaries, meta-dictionaries and terms.

ON10 Create scientific work (article, theses, comments, projects, dissertation) in the field of foreign philology using modern computer technologies, lexicographic sources, as well as evaluate it and determine its significance.

ON11 Present the results obtained in research in the form of reports, reports, scientific publications.

ON12 Possess the skills for search (including the use of information systems and databases) and critical analysis of information on the subject of research being carried out, pocess the scientific apparatus for stylistic analysis of the text, different genres of academic writing

For applicants

Academic activities

The academic activity of the EP is carried out:

- within the framework of existing normative documents and methodological recommendations in the field of higher education in the field of humanities;

- as a result of the implementation of normative documents regulating the educational and methodological process at the university;

- generalization and dissemination of new normative legal acts concerning methodological work;

- current and prospective planning of the educational and methodological work of the university;

-coordination of the educational and methodological complex of the discipline (UMKD) of the department for compliance with regulatory legal acts, the working curriculum and the educational program;

- monitoring the provision of the educational process with teaching materials, documenting the results;

- development of teaching materials; development and implementation of the working curriculum;

-academic policy and rules of integrity of the university.

6 doctors of sciences, 18 candidates of Sciences and 6 PhD are working to train qualified specialists.

Scientific activity

In order to develop students, clubs and clubs function at the department. Club "Kokzhiek", "Tarziman", English Drama, Latin language club, German language club.
