February 19, 2024 at the Faculty of International Relations of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University gave an open lecture on the topic “Legal Consultant. Who is this and what are they all about? The lecture was given by specially invited guest Tuleu Sergazy, a junior lawyer at SIGNIM LAW firm, a graduate of the Faculty of International Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

During the lecture, Tuleu Sergazy spoke in detail about his student memories, the moment he joined SIGNIM LAW, his first projects and how to solve them. The lecturer also addressed the need to choose a professional direction after graduation, about public service, In-house and consulting, and also spoke about the advantages and difficulties of each direction.

Tuleu Sergazy emphasized to students the need to thoroughly study subjects such as “Civil Law”, “Civil Procedural Law” and “International Civil Procedural Law” during the educational process, their practical significance and everyday use in the course of their activities.

Tuleu Sergazy told his journey of finding a job after graduating from university and advised on which sites to look for a job, which law firms to contact, and the specifics of writing a CV. The lecturer also gave information about professional skills that a candidate needs to pay attention to during the employment process.

International law students of 2-3 years of the Faculty of International Relations who took part in the lecture asked the lecturer their questions and received information about internship opportunities at SIGNIM LAW firm.
