The Center of European Law of the Department of International Law of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University together with the University of Le Havre (France) held an international scientific and practical conference on the topic: «Legal aspects of cooperation of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the European Union» on February 28, 2023.

The following issues were discussed at the conference: theoretical and practical problems of implementing the development of bilateral relations of the Republic of Kazakhstan with European states and cooperation with the European Union, with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, with the Council of Europe and their structures.

Proposals were developed and made on topical issues of bilateral relations of the Republic of Kazakhstan with European states and organizations in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.

The conference participants discussed the prospects for cooperation and developed recommendations for improving bilateral relations.

The conference was attended by leading scientists of Kazakhstan and foreign countries, representatives of state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, international and national experts, representatives of civil society, teachers, doctoral students and undergraduates of universities.
