On October 26, 2022, Professor of Law, Dean of the Penn State Law Stephen Barnes visited the Faculty of International Relations of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
At the meeting with the faculty management, issues of international cooperation, academic mobility within the framework of international programs, professional development of the teaching staff were discussed.
A lecture by Professor Stephen Barnes on the topic "Review of the US Constitution and branches of Government" aroused great interest. The event was attended by the teaching staff, doctoral students, undergraduates, students of the educational program "International Law", "International Relations".
The professor shared a wealth of practical experience in the field of law and international relations, answered students' questions. Students and young scientists also spoke about their experience of studying at foreign universities in the USA under the “Bolashak”, “Work and Travel in USA” program.
The lecture was informative and in a lively discussion. We thank all the participants for their active participation!
