Roundtable on Human Rights Day

On December 9, 2021 the chair of international law of the faculty of international relations of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi took part in the round table devoted to the Human Rights Day, which is celebrated annually on December 10 in honor of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 1948 - the system of rights, to which every person is entitled. The roundtable was held at the KazNU Library with the participation of UN Resident Coordinator in the Republic of Kazakhstan Ms. Michaela Friberg-Story, OHCHR Regional Representative for Central Asia Mr. Ryszard Komenda, the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan Arujan Sain, Director of Sorbonne Institute Kazakhstan Ainur Sabitova, representatives of KazHJU, Turan University, KazUMOiMYA named after Abylai Khan and KazNU in Kazakhstan. The participants made presentations at the event. During the event, participants made presentations on topical issues in the field of human rights protection, development of children's rights, improvement of legislation of Kazakhstan in the field of human rights, international cooperation, etc.
