A catalog of ancient manuscripts in the Kazakh-Persian languages was prepared

 02/07/2023 - 08/20/2023 a catalog of books in Persian and Arabic in the Kazakh-Persian languages was prepared.

Scientists examined rare publications and manuscripts in oriental languages, brought to the Al-Farabi library from the city of Kyzylorda in 2021, and in the Catalog published in 2022 (Kazakh University Publishing House, 2022), the number of books in Arabic and Persian languages was - 266. Z. Shadkam together with Dr. Atefe Zandi checked and adjusted the inventory, and as a result of the work done, 400 books were identified and registered.

As a result, a list of handwritten and lithographic data in Persian and Arabic was created, systematized, numbered and recorded in 400 separate folders.

01/23/23-08/20/2023 Director of the Research Center “Written Monuments and Spiritual Heritage”, acting. prof. Z. Shadkam and research assistant Atife Zandi worked from Monday to Saturday (9:00-18:00) and edited the catalogue. It was established that the invited specialist is a very thorough, responsible, experienced researcher.

Based on the results of the work carried out, the commission of the Islamic State of Iran, created by the Dayretul Marifi Bozorge Islami center, will conduct research on this catalog as part of its work. As a result: the catalog of the Al-Farabi library in the Kazakh-Persian languages will be adjusted and published in the Kazakh and Persian languages.
