Today was the opening ceremony of the XXVII International Symposium of Morphological Sciences ISMS 2021 "Cell, tissue, organs - experience, innovation and progress", organized by the Faculty of Medicine and Health, Higher School of Medicine, Department of Fundamental Medicine.

     The conference was opened by the President of ISMS 2021, Ph.D. Associate Professor Gulmira Zhurabekova. The first words were given to the projector of KazNU named after al-Farabi Mukanov Kanatbek Nurtazinovich. As a morphologist, he noted the importance of morphology in the fundamental basis in medicine, he also expressed his gratitude and honor to hold a symposium at our University.

“The symposium brings together not only countries and continents, but also generations. Today our students, undergraduates and doctoral students have an exceptional opportunity to become a part of the international scientific community, to attend lectures, master classes and seminars of professors with a worldwide international reputation. Therefore, all the meetings scheduled for the next 5 days are of a very important strategic nature not only for our experienced experts, but also for young scientists, ”said, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare, Doctor of Medicine Kalmatayeva Zhanna.

       The symposium will become an interactive platform for more than 2 thousand specialists from all fields of medicine and natural science, from biologists and morphologists to clinicians, in order to expand our knowledge and, ultimately, improve the results of diagnosis, prevention and treatment of patients.

The event will be held in the framework of 10 sections, at the same time meetings of a number of round tables, master classes and lectures by world-class experts in various morphological areas are planned, as well as interesting speeches by young scientists.

   Director of the Higher School of Medicine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Isaeva Raushan Binomovna spoke about the history of the development of morphological sciences in Kazakhstan.

       Expressing gratitude to the organizer, in particular Gulmira Zhurabekovna, the President of ICSMS Professor Guido Macchiarelli noted the importance of this symposium, because more than 25 countries are participating. These are the countries of the near and far abroad Italy, China, Spain, Brazil, Japan, the Netherlands, South Africa, etc.

The floor was also given to PhD - Professor Diogo Pais from Nova University and Professor Beverley Kramer from the University of the Witwatersrand. Wishing all the participants of the 27th International Symposium ISMS 2021 new discoveries, acquaintances and valuable experience that will be needed in solving various morphological issues.
