For the first time in the CIS, the XXVII International Symposium of Morphological Sciences ISMS 2021 "Cell, tissue, organs - experience, innovation and progress" will be held on May 27-31, 2021
The first symposium was held in Mexico in 1971, and for half a century, every two years, more than 20 different countries have hosted the event.
On June 5, 2018, at the XXVI Symposium in Prague, at a meeting of the Committee of the Symposium of Morphological Sciences, it was unanimously decided to hold the next ISMS-2020 event in the Republic of Kazakhstan. However, due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was decided to postpone the Symposium to May 2021.
ISMS-2021 is a platform for broadcasting the latest achievements of medical science, based on accurate morphological evidence of research.
ISMS-2021 is a new way for scientists to collaborate in the current situation, search for new methods and generate ideas.

- • Publication of discoveries and achievements of medical, morphological science in the publication "Annals of Anatomy" (indexed by the Scopus base, IF - 1,852)
A round table “BODY DONATION: A GLOBAL PERSPERCTIVE IN A ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION” will be organized on the issue of donation of cadaveric material for educational purposes in medical universities for the first time in the framework of the congress. Morphologists from different countries and continents will present their experience, problems and solutions.
The program of the congress will include a unique master class of the International Federation of Anatomical Associations "Workshop on scientific writing" http://isms2020.kz/index.php/workshop-form
Within the framework of the Congress, there will be a section of young scientists, report contest.
The best presentation will be awarded a prize (100 €).
Poster sections will be held online in various thematic areas.
The final stage of the congress will be a meeting of the committee of the International Symposium of Morphological Sciences https://www.symposiamorphologica.com/, at which a decision will be made to hold the next congress ISMS 2023. At the closing ceremony of the Symposium, the flag and seal of the congress will be solemnly handed over to the president of the next congress.
