The staff of the Faculty of Journalism at the Scientific council congratulated Serik Zhanbolat on his 60th birthday.
During the event, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism Kanat Auesbaevich spoke about the work of the hero of the day on Kazakh television.
Starting from the new academic year 2024-2025, Serik Zhanbolat began working as a senior lecturer at the Department of Publishing, Editorial and Design Art.
Recall that Serik Zhanbolat was accepted to an editorial position in the editorial office of the program "Zhastar" of the Kazakh Republican television in 1989.
In 1993, he was appointed deputy editor-in-chief of the Murager creative association. At that time, this association gave rise to such projects as "Anshi balapan", "Magic October", the country's first TV and radio marathon. And Serik himself was the author and organizer of such TV projects as "Sultan Zhiguli", "Ukili Umit", "Tayburyl" and "Kazaktyn Kazhymukyn".
In 1996, the adaptation of Kazakh television to the market was carried out, the Orientir studio (a night entertainment club) was created. Approved by the deputy editor-in-chief of the Orientir studio. In 1997, he worked as an editor of the Aksham information program, presenter and correspondent of the NEP TV Studio Gala program.
In 1998, he was hired as a producer of the morning information and entertainment program "Salem, Kazakhstan" by the Khabar Agency. In the same year, he worked as a presenter, producer, editor and presenter of the information and analytical program "Seven Days" in the Directorate of information programs.
In early 2004, for the first time in history, the Kazakh press organized and published the republican socio-political newspaper "Aikyn", which distributes information daily. The newspaper "Aikyn" has become an authoritative publication, which is firmly entrenched in the country's press. He also held a discussion program "Kokpar" on the national TV channel "Kazakhstan", where he touched upon topical issues of the country.
