On February 7, 2022 at 15:00 at the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, an international scientific and practical conference on the theme «Current issues of publishing-editing field and book publishing» will be held. The conference will be in a hybrid (offline + online) format, and it is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the poet, scientist, publisher, teacher, laureate of the International Literary Award «Alash», academician of the International Academy of Informatization Kopbaev Temirgali Muratbekovich.

The Department of Publishing-editing and Design Art will publish a collection of abstracts and articles of the conference. Within the framework of the conference, it is planned to hold three thematic plenary sessions:

Section 1: Temirgali Kopbayev - poet, scientist, publisher, teacher

Section 2: Domestic publishing: Global trends and national experience

Section 3: Current issues of Kazakh book studies

Publication requirements:

1. The text of the report (article) should be prepared in no more than 5 pages and in MS Word. Tables, diagrams, figures should be named and drawn up in the form of a Windows program.

2. Margin parameters: all margins 2 cm

3. Font: Times New Roman, Kz Times New Roman, size-14.

4. Line spacing - 1. Paragraph: 1.25 cm.

5. Using citations, it is necessary to indicate the source. List the literature at the end of the text according to the rules of the sample. In the text, references to literature should be enclosed in "square" brackets in accordance with the numbering in the order of mention. For example: [1, 17].

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject reports that do not correspond to the topic of the conference and the requirements for their design.
