MES to hold it competition among students of colleges and universities for the first time:winners will receive from 500 thousand to 1.5 million tenge
For the first time, the Ministry of education and science is holding an IT competition "BILIM Hackathon 2022" among students and programmers who want to participate. The winners will receive 1.5 million tenge. The prize fund for the second place is 1,000,000 tenge, for the third place-500,000 tenge. The winners, i.e. students, in addition to the awards, will have the opportunity to get a job.
It should be noted that the jury will include representatives of well-known IT companies, and the best participants will receive an invitation to work.
The IT competition will be held on March 26-27 in an offline format on the basis of Astana IT University.
This competition is held in order to initiate the development of new IT projects in the field of education and science, as well as to encourage current and future IT specialists.
"There are many talented young people in the country who develop various IT projects. We invite them to participate in the contest. Students of universities and colleges, as well as other programmers, can take part in the competition. One team from each educational institution is allowed to participate. Participants of the competition are given various tasks. For example, preparing a project on digital solutions in the field of education, both on a free topic and on a given topic.

In the municipal state institution "Center for social service" Shapagat" of the Department of social welfare of Almaty under the leadership of Professor Kerimbayev N. N., 1st year doctoral students of the specialty "8d01502-Informatics": Umirzakova Zh.s., Nurym N. N. and 1st year undergraduates of the specialty "7M01502-Informatics" held a charity event dedicated to the holiday "Ulystyn uly Kuni Nauryz".

The award was established to support young scientists and their mentors. Since 2019 , it has been awarded for achievements in various fields of computer science: These are machine learning, computer vision, information retrieval, speech recognition and synthesis, as well as natural language processing and machine translation.
Students and postgraduates from universities and research institutes in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan can apply for the award themselves, as well as nominate scientific supervisors.
